I swear I happen to bump into at least 1 new contour each day in my travels from North Philly to Allentown to Northern NJ.
I'm still trying to figure out who is the silver SVT with NJ plates and a USA sticker on the rear bumper that I saw on Rt 202, and 611 about a month ago.
About a month ago I chatted with a black SVT with DARE plates. Cool driver but seemed like he was in a hurry to get somewhere.
Also spotted 3 SVTs (1 black, one green and one red) racing south on 611 near the Target north of Willowgrove.
I've also bumped into a black SVT (and upon some small talk with the driver) only to find out that he swapped out the performance tires for standard passenger tires.
2 weeks ago I spotted a silver SVT in the Whitehall, PA area. Near the Lehigh Valley Mall.
At the begining of this week I bumped into another black SVT on 611 near Doylestown, much cooler driver this time (programmer from RIT working just south of Doylestown on 611).
That same evening in downtown Doylestown (611 again - seeing a trend here?) I tooted at a red/tan SVT with a driver who looked like he noticed why I was tooting at him.
And today, while I was at work I visited one of our other buildings and noticed a black SVT with the front end that looked a little nicked up sitting in a parking lot for VerticalNet.
So guys with all these sightings I've been seeing lately - does anyone know any of these people or should I start recruiting them before the snow comes so we can have a get together?

recruit them! all of the SVTs i've seen lately were driven by women...whats up with that?! and none of them will race me...not even the silver SVT with delaware tags will race me!
i just want to race jeez!

On the rare occasion I see an SVT it is usually a woman driving it. I always wonder if they purchased it themselves or if they are just driving the husbands car. I did see a black Tour SE today on the turnpike. Rear windows tinted, ventshades, looked good just needed a bath, anybody here?

Yo fellas, i live my the roosevelt mall currently i drive a 95 lx with 17s and dual flowmaster exhaust. Im going to buy a 00 svt in a week or so , im up for some good drivin or any type of get togethers goin on.

I saw a silver SVT at KOP mall today. Stupid me didn't even take time to notice what plates it had or if it had a spoiler... I was with a bunch of people and nobody really cared so I had to catch up with them D'OH! BUT I did get this one kid interested in the car he REALLY liked it and is looking for a car to buy soon!! the silver SVT had a rubber snake in the back seat... was it anybody on CEG? looked stock from what I saw and it wasn't there when I came out like 20 minutes after.
Oh the other SVTs have I have seen around here is a green one that I always see at some computer center. I've seen it driving down from the swarthmore area on 252 but I was always driving the opposite way. and a black one that I see occasionally. I've seen a really dirty red one during the winter so so that ups my count to only 4 SVT Contours I've seen my whole life... pretty bad...

Yo Ricca, good luck with the new ride. If you're into autocrossing I'd be happy to see another Contour on the track. Check out www.autox4u.com and go to the philly region section. There is one other SVT Tour that usually shows up, for the time being he is not very competitive. Always good to see a Contour.
