Imagine my suprise, I'm out in the boondocks for work, and I see this crazy Cougar that looks strangely familiar.. I pull up to it, and realize it's yours.. If you don't remember me, I'm the guy with the black SVT from the dyno day in Pottstown. I have no idea what brings you out to Coudersport, but drop me an e-mail if you're around (sujpatel@earthlink.net) and maybe we can hook up. Later.

Yup I remember you. I work in coudersport for Adelphia. Nate Bottorf SVT_NATE on the board mentioned that you come out this way often for work. I rarely drive to work b/c i work 3:30-12:00 and the deer are really bad at night. You see me driving or when it was parked in the lot?

Yeah, that's me.. I saw your car parked as I was leaving yesterday, and I saw your Contour parked in the same spot today as I was leaving.. What is that, an SVT front bumper, and Cougar rims? Definitely caught my attention.

So you live up here somewhere, or do you do some sort of crazy commute? What do you do at Adelphia? My company's developing an alarm integration system for all of ABS's element management systems, so I've been spending about 4 days a week up here for the past month or so, and this will continue for at least another month.. Sucks, but what can you do? smile

I am a level 2 network support technician at the TAC. I live about 25 mins outside of coudy. The contour has an svt front bumper and soon to have the sides and rear. I put my cougar wheels on it until my 19" axis se7ens get here then i will throw the 18" blazes on the contour. I just wish she had gotten a 5 spd b/c the atx is a dog. we are going to do quite a bit with it but no matter what it will always be slow. i do have a spare 2.5 v6 that may need transplanted though wink

i have her sail panels and gas door off right now too. next week they will be finished with the carbon process and will be cleared at my body shop. her car should look good soon. I love the coil overs on that car. made it handle so much better

Sounds like a good setup on the Contour.. How do the coilovers compare to the stock SVT setup? Can't wait to see the carbon fiber pieces in person, the pictures didn't do much for me, but you really can't get a good idea from a picture.. Later.

the coil overs are amazing for handling but you wll have a rougher ride. for an enthusiast though it is the way to go for suspension. also when showing the vehicle it is sweet to see it at a 3" drop.

i am putting her carbon pieces on monday

Cool, when I get back into town in a few weeks, I'll have to take a closer look, as the pictures aren't really doing justice for me..

You do tinting? If so, what's the cost? I've been looking for a good place to get mine done at, might be a good excuse for a long drive up there for work one week.. smile

can do a contour for $120 all windows and 1 piece on the rear window no goofy looking seams or strips. Takes me about an hour to do. let me know if you want it done. i just did amy's car on monday. looks sweet 20% on the sides 15% on the rear
