Hey Insanity -There are some new SVT's still out there ... all ya gotta do is look around . Go onto
www.ford.com & look on the dealer locator & choose SVT product dealers in youre area . Then look in their inventory . All Ford dealers have the inventory search thing . For example I just looked 2 minutes ago & Ramsey Ford has a green SVT still sittin' around . There are also at least 1/2 dozen or more new SVTs in eastern PA . Also you can look on
www.autoweb.com ,
www.autotrader.com or
www.cars.com or someplace like that too . I amassed a huge list of about 50 within about 150 miles of home or so (used & new) when I was looking . Just do a bit of research ... it'll payoff BIGTIME . Don't wait too long to get a new one ... they aren't gonna last forever . I missed out on a couple by waiting too long . And when you DO find one , work the dealer HARD for a good deal . It's a DEAD model and they do not want them sitting around , and don't let them tell you otherwise . Keep working them until you get the deal YOU want . If they don't come around , give them your number & walk out . If you seemed interested enough , they'll call you and see what they can do to make the deal . I had the dealer calling me 2-3 times a day for WEEKS trying to make the deal . I just kept telling them it wasn't good enough . They kept calling . Finally , I felt the deal was pretty good & did the deed . This SVT cost me my Honda CBR sportbike & I traded my '95 SE on it ... so it BETTER work out OK ! My '95 was a solidly reliable , great runnin' unit , I hope this one is too (fingers crossed) .
Good luck in your quest , and KEEP LOOKIN' !
