The Baer kit is a very nice upgrade over stock, but it still has shortcomings. Peolpe that saw me when I faded them at Gingerman can attest to that.. I got black-flagged outta the track because there were sparks flying from the pads disintegrating on the overheated rotors. Pedal feel was maintained thanks to my fresh fluid but my stopping distance was much longer.. that was after only 7 laps at 9/10th of the car. Nothing close to a 20 lap session.

People like Shaun take their cars to the track often, and are looking for the ultimate bang for their buck. There is a marked difference in weight on the TCE package, the modular discs will not warp, and the four piston calipers are something only experience can describe.

Let's call the Baer kit a mid-range upgrade. Todd has a top-range setup, for people serious about their track driving.
