Cross drilled rotors are really only for looks. As to if the cars brakes any better with crossed drilled rotors the debate will go on until the cows come home. For me that is a long time since I'm two generations away from having family cows. What drilled rotors will do is crack around the holes and make it harder (some say impossible) to resurface.
BAT did seem to have a problem with new rotors that were warped out of the box, but I have not read of any such complaints for some time.
Anyone else want to jump in here?
