I also have an SE - 1998. My front rotors were warped at 25000 miles. Just upgraded to late model SVT 278mm rotors with stock SE calipers. Great improvement in braking.
I used two svt caliper mounting brackets and two 278 mm SVT rotors and about 1 hour labor.
So far this has proved to be an effective yet inexpensive upgrade for the weak SE front brakes.
