I was wondering from those of you who have installed Stainless Steel Break Lines how difficult it was. I would do it myself and I wish I had looked at them more when I put on my Ground Controls. Im asking because doing this on my old 4Runner was a major b*tch. I want to do front and rear. Thanks.

I have no idea how you would go about installing those Break lines you talkin' 'bout.. wink :p

..but installing the SS brake lines that came with my Baer kit was fairly easy. Jeff had everything unhooked in minutes, with simple hand tools. We didn't do the rears.

Installing S.S. brake lines are easy, but don't count on putting them back on a Contour without extra parts. The original clip that mounts the brake line to the body doesn't swage the S.S line tight enough. I had to use two clips to swage it tight enough. Small detail, big difference.
