Read an old (99) Motor Trend(?), might be wrong, but the lead editorial by Peter Egan(?) was about the mag's turning in their long-term-test SVT. Gist of it was, he wanted to buy it afterwards, decided not to in the end as he had 2 SUV's, but it was a real interesting story....anyone see it? I enjoyed earing of a reviewer that drove it for over a year and would buy it, considering how many cars they test and all.....
