OhSigmaChi,
No news as of Wednesday when I spoke with them.
As far as I know, they are still looking at the rear caliper from the Corvette to make a better rear caliper.
I'll give them a call Monday and see where they're at on it.

Mike

I believe the early SEs have the same rear disks/calipers as the SVT and the caliper has an integratted parking brake. Thanks for all your efforts in lining up another supplier for us!

Sorry to say, but I haven't called them as of late. I've had family in town the last two weeks so I've been spending most of my time with them when I wasn't at work.
Now that everyone is back east and safe, I'll continue with the quest for your conversion.

twOwheelin, thanks for the info,I'll pass it on.

I'm gonna give them a call this morning, and post a reply around lunch assuming I can get out of the mountain to do it.

Mike

Update.........
I spoke with Daryl yesterday and this is the news.
There has been a shipping delay from Australia for both sea freight and air freight. They have the mounting bracket made, just needs to be tested out as one unit.

As for the rear disc conversion, Daryl has not pursued it due to other jobs being more important. He said that they would be willing to bump it up on their priority list if there were more than two people seriously interested in it.
So if more than two people are in, then let me know and I'll pass it on.

Precision said their DBA rotors were out of stock in the SVT size and it would be 3-4 weeks before they would see them. FYI I ordered a set of the slotted rotors the other day and thats the info I got.

Mike,
I'm pretty sure there are a few more owners out there interested in a conversion kit.

I'm interested in rear disc conversion if price is decent.

I definately would be in for a rear conversion, if the price is reasonable, of course. Although I don't really have the money right now, there's a couple of blood banks here in town so I can make some real quick!
