Honestly, not much. The big thing is the rotor's that are made by Disc Brakes Australia. Also, pricing should be competitive against BAT. The guys at Precision Brakes are aware that BAT has a kit available already, as well as a few other companies, so the pricing will be based accordingly. This is simply another option for aftermarket brakes. We don't have enough following as is. The thinking I have behind this is this; The more businesses that we can get on board, the more that will follow. Make your own decision. I however will be going for the guys that help expand the market. Mike

I spoke with Matt at Precision Brakes today about a rear disc conversion. They will look into it, as the SVT's already have rear disc's, it shouldn't be too hard to do. The only problem that exists depends on the type of rear caliper the SVT's have. If the parking brake caliper is seperate from the brake caliper, it should be easy to come up with. On the flip side, if the two are integral, then that poses a problem as it is harder to do. Also, the caliper that Wilwood offers for this application, isn't the best for the job, according to them. They(Precision Brakes) are looking at the rear calipers from the Vette, and may be able to come up with something from that.
For anyone interested, Precision Brakes is offering all the components seperatly. If you just want to piece together your own kit or just want an upgrade to the rotors, SS lines, etc, then you can go that way as well. Mike

Is there any chance that these guys will make a kit with something larger then the standard 278mm SVT rotors?

I'll talk to them about making larger kits, however, if you don't/can't wait, there is another guy,Shaun Guanco, putting together a larger kit. They are even using the Wilwood Superlite calipers.
I sent the money off to Precision Brakes yesterday, so they now have the money from me to put everything together and get it out to me. It's only a matter of time now. I'll keep everbody posted as things update. Mike
