I know of a few people who were wondering about this swap, has anyone attempted it?Without getting to far into it,it looks like a fairly easy change.Fairly easy for a profrssional shop to do.I think you can keep everything but the caliper and pads.
Yes,no,maybe.

Why? For that money, you can probably get Wilwood kit or Baer kit. But yes, it can be done very easily. You just need the E0 caliper, caliper bracket, and brake pads.

It should not be hard to do. The caliper brackets are the same part number. You would need the E0 calipers and pads. I'm not sure that it would be worth the expense for very little benefit.

Even though the E0 uses a taller pad, the swept area of the E1 is actually larger (it has more surface area, but is narrower).

Debatable as to which is better.

The swept area and the fact that it is consentrated on the edge actually gives the advantage to the later braking system. If your going to do anything go Willwood or Baer, don't bother with E0's. All are pretty easy to install!
