Anyone know for sure the proper Part# (or size) for speedi-bleeders for the Evo0 SVT front brakes? The web-site shows same size for front and rear on Contours, but the list has'nt been updated (only list early model years). I did a search in this forum, and there seems to be a difference in size on the fronts. I believe the SVT's produced before 5/1999 have larger (Mondeo type) calipers on fronts, while later SVT's and all other Contours and Cougars use the same smaller calipers. I just don't want to buy an assortment of bleeders for the fronts and have to return the ones that don't fit. Thanks in advance. smile

I'm about 90% certain that I bought the SB1010's for use on my E0 calipers.

Hey,

Would an ordinary Zerk fitting safety wired to a piece of hose do the same thing??

Hi,

On my 2k SVT the front bleeder is 8mm X 1.25 and the rear is 10 mm X 1.0

laugh Well, actually...the fitting will function as a bleeder. The main problem is getting the hose to stay connected and not get blown through the garage wall! eek
