Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums Modifications Brakes 8" or 9" drums ?

Hi,

I'm on the phone with the parts store for rear shoes for my '97 Contour GL. I don't have the car here, just the VIN which is

1FALP6535VK107657

Can anyone tell if I have the 8" or 9" brakes ?

The only info I can give that they're slightly different (how the springs are set up) than the pictures in the Haynes book.
