I think the wiring referred to in the earlier post was the underhood wiring looms that were replaced as part of an Owner Notification Program (similar to a recall). Have the dealer check OASIS to see if your car is involved.

Basically, the wiring insulation would tend to crumble and / or shrink leaving some of the wiring exposed next to the connector so they could short one to another. The repair under the ONP can only be performed if there is a problem present and the car still meets time and milage constraints.

It is not very likely that this is causing your ABS light problem.
