Two problems, one slightly large, and since I am unemployed, I can finally fix some annoying things. Whenever the undercarriage gets wet, the ABS light comes on, and the entire ABS system goes inactive. This is kind of fun when you are messing around on the snowy roads, but I want it to be there when I need it. I did find this:
Topic: ABS Brake Failure after Car Wash Instead of reviving a old thread, I figured it would be better to ask it again, since my question still wasn't answered. Where is this harness SVTMAG is talking about?
Second problem. I pulled/installed the dash the other day (for dying/paint), since then the brake lights have worked every now and then. I have double checked the connections into the body behind the pass kick panel. The grounds that are located there are fine as well. The fuse is good, and the connections to the stop light switch are also connected. I still have hazards, signals, taillamps and backup lamps (probably the same clip behing the kick panel). All of the brake lights are off though, including the third brake light. It would have to be before the cancelation switch in the column, otherwise the signals would be dead too.
Any ideas or shots in the dark will be cool, otherwise I am bored and I just surf through the 'really old' threads.
