I have the SVT/Cougar conversion. It does brake a lot better especially after I did a complete system bleed. I'm stilling running some cheap pads because BAT screwed up and sent me the pads for '98 SVT's instead of '99+ SVT's. But even with the cheap pads, my braking is already a lot better. I have the Borbet Type B and have never tried putting my 15" back on, but I don't see why they won't fit because I have quite a bit of space between the caliper and the wheel right now.
I didn't get the BAT Big Brake Kit though. I bought the caliper brackets used from junkyard, and the rotors from someone who had upgraded to cross-drilled rotors. The rotors are remachined before I installed them on my car.
