I have the SVT/Cougar conversion. It does brake a lot better especially after I did a complete system bleed. I'm stilling running some cheap pads because BAT screwed up and sent me the pads for '98 SVT's instead of '99+ SVT's. But even with the cheap pads, my braking is already a lot better. I have the Borbet Type B and have never tried putting my 15" back on, but I don't see why they won't fit because I have quite a bit of space between the caliper and the wheel right now.

I didn't get the BAT Big Brake Kit though. I bought the caliper brackets used from junkyard, and the rotors from someone who had upgraded to cross-drilled rotors. The rotors are remachined before I installed them on my car.

It's a shame someone can be so ignorant...
I'm sure anytime you reach 100+ Mph you can use the larger disc area, I know I've not been happy with my brake performance at all at 50 Mph - major fade, and I can hardly lock them up at all (new pads, machined rotors)

OK, I mounted my stock 15"s back on today. They fit over the SVT sized front brakes no problem, and actually have quite a bit of room left. So, there you go.

Don't forget that your spare will not fit on the fronts now. Either plan on mounting the spare on the rear and moving the rear to the front if you have a front flat, or shop the wrecking yards for a spare from a Cougar or an SVT.

it's retarded to mount the donut tire on the drive wheels anyway, so who cares

Well, some of us would like to know that limitation before having a flat. I don't think I would enjoy having the front wheel off and then discovering that I need to put it back on while I pull a wheel off the rear.

But I guess there are some who would rather learn the hard way.

I know that the spare won't fit before putting the larger rotors and bracket on, but thank you. I wouldn't want the spare on the drive wheel anyway.

No, you don't need special adapter for the Cougar caliper, just the caliper brackets and rotors will do. Matter or fact, what I got was the Cougar caliper not SVT ones. But they're the same so it doesn't matter.
