I have the cheap performance friction pads from zutozone. They work good once heated up, and theres practly no dust at all.

I agree. The PF pads are much better than stock. I still have some dust problems, but I am also kind of hard on them because of the stupid drivers around here.

Did you resurface your rotors when you put the on. I did. I broke them in real nice too.
-Andy Andy, I did resurface my rotors when I put the KVR's on...They did start to work better about a month later but in that mean time I was scared that someone in front of me was gong to stop fast and I would run into them.. Put the OEM pads back on on friday and I almost gave myself whiplash at the first light I came to. I forgot what brakes felt like. Scary to think about how little stopping power I had with the KVR's. And thanks for the low down on the Raybestos pads I am glad I didn't get them.

I would agree that the OEM's are better on street than the KVR's. I was just posting to let anyone who might track their car that the Greenstuffs aren't enough for prolonged(read: several hour) track time, and that the KVR's work well on track.

And they were even dustier than the Ford pads. And they were red which clashed with my yellow and black speckled calipers! (bought SVT brakes used, calipers came yellow, I tried to paint em black, brake fluid on the caliper changed that plan and gave me a nice speckled pattern that I don't care about). And they could get noisy at times, same as Ford's pads.
The Mintex A/F pads are slightly less dusty than OEM pads and I haven't heard a peep out of them. OK, are you saying the A/F or the Raybestos are dustier than OEM, red, and noisy?

Yea, I knew what you were saying. I just want to get the KVR thing off my chest. Since I have spent around $280 on pads alone in the past 5 months.

That's too bad. Though they do say you should use the Redstuff for track use. I just did two days at the track with Mintex 1144 on the fronts. Not cheap, but work great! No fade at all, though they do put some noticeable wear on the rotors.
