Ah the Tempo; fine American Automobile. eek [/b]
Desert Storm, It's hard to tell online, I don't want to start something, but were you being mean? The Tempo is the original Contour. Ford stopped making the Tempo in 1994 to make the Contour. They are awesome cars, you can't beat a Tempo for quality. It's sad that most of the Tempos you see today are beat up to hell and neglected, but they still are going along great.

Proud driver of a 1990 AWD Ford Tempo, but a Contour girl at heart! :-)

I have an SVT Aspire, does that count? How did I get it? Well, I co-founded SVT and left when I believed it was doing well enough to survive without my help. The Aspire was just sitting around so I took it before I left.

It has a special silver SVT badge on the A/C compressor and oil cap, and the exhaust has a special tip on it, bringing the total "SVT" horsepower from 64 stock up to 76. I have talked to my old pals at SVT about dropping in a K&N air filter later for another 30 or 40 horse gain!

1998 Contour Sport V6, Black
*Cold air induction
*Powdercoated intake manifold (more powdercoating coming soon)
*Blue headlights, foggies, and signals (no reflectors)

1994 Ford Aspire 4-door, looks like a big egg
*64 hp 4-cyl
*5 speed
*"13 steel rims with go-cart tires
*74 mph top speed
*I'm going to auto-x the thing (but not compete)
