Ok I've used the search and can find nothing on improvements on the rear side of things???
Does anybody make a rear kit with calipers and rotors??

Save your money and concentrate on upgrading your front brakes; they do the about 75+% of the braking.

So far there has been nothing done to alter the rear brakes, but the upcoming Focus SVT is reported to have larger front and rear brakes than the Contour SVT. There is a very highly likelyhood that these parts will fit our cars. You will most likely need 17" wheels to clear the front rotors and calipers.

Jim, have you looked into this? I was wondering about converting the rear SVT Contour's brakes over to the SVT Focus' brakes.

I don't think the SVT Focus rear calipers would fit, unless a custom bracket was made. I remember talking to a SVT Focus design engineer and thats what he hinted at. Also, the brakes are from the Ford Transit, the big white van in the UK. IIRC that is.

There is nothing to research yet. There is no listing in the catalogs yet. We need to wait until the cars are introduced.
