I can't possibly see why anyone would pass up cross-drilled and/or slotted rotors except for the fact that if they warp, you now have an expensive set of round paper weights, as they can't be "turned" or re-surfaced. Considering the concept that brakes stop cars by turning the KE (motion, or kinetic energy) of a car into heat, why would you think a little snow in the holes would hurt? Frosty will disappear the first time you stop from 50 mph at that light on Main St... Good place to start... Check the mods page for more sound advice
