I've seen them at a couple places for well under $900 (slotted or drilled and zinc washed)

I would do this mod if I had a SE with out a doubt.

I however can not bring myself to spend the money for the brake kit and the rims & tires needed over the stock SVT setup. (over $2k easy!) A lot of money for much less gains. IMO I'm better off with some quality pads (Mintex) and stainless lines. Not quite as good, but around $200 (that's 1 full zero less wink )
For the other $1800 I could do headers and a 3L eh? laugh

Question..why is baer selling their kit for less than all the online parts sellers I've seen? confused

I helped organize a f-body GP for the Baer brake track kit a few yrs ago. We basically got Baer's dealer/distributor price. The only caveat from Baer at the time was that we could not advertise the GP price on the fbody list or website (for obvious reasons)... Baer still seems to be backdooring their own dealers. Which I guess is good for us.
