Hey all, I'm going to a driving school next month, and I need to change my pads anyway. I'm thinking Mintex 1144 or the EBC greenstuff pads as a minimum. I don't want to burn up my stock rotors. I'm considering upgrading the rotors/calipers too if I can afford it. 17" wheels are in the future (hey I can dream..), but I'd need something that works with the stock 16" if possible.

ok, so after searching around here some more, I've found comments that EBCs have significant dust, caused warping, etc. Apparently KVR pads should be on my list too.

I just put the EBC Green's on my car. I haven't noticed any significant dust yet. I haven't heard anything about them causing warping or anything of that sort. I took them to a small track this weekend and even before they were properly bedded, they still beat my stock pads all to hell. FYI- Tirerack has them for about $85 shipped to your door and install is easy as pie.

Cool, thanks Rick. I assume you are using the stock rotors?
