I am thinking about painting my calipers. If any of you have pictures of yours could you post them. I don't know what color to paint them. I have a Red 98.5 SVT. I thought about red, but didn't know if that would clash with the darker red car body I thought about black, but part of my wants them to stand out more, undecided. I also thougth about silver.
Thoughts & Pictures would be much appreciated.

Go yellow...you will stop much faster with yellow.

I painted mine red... they look nice. Sorry I don't pics. I have a red toreador tour and it went well. I also painted a friends silver and it looked really sweet as well. Either one I don't think you would go wrong on.

all four of mine are red, just remove the wheel, clean the caliper and spray the VHT caliper paint ($5-Pep boys) and you are done. Pic is at: http://www.geocities.com/johnh1977/svt.html 2nd pic down on left...

Did mine in black. Less flashy, buy clean and easy maintenance.

are you able to just mask off everything then spray the caliper? are there any parts of the caliper that i should make sure i dont get paint on or in?
i want to do this but worried about messing something up.

Yeah just mask everything you don't want painted. Make sure the piston is masked off. If your scared of spraying.. Use the brush on lacquer. Folia Tec puts it out. You will get less fade and corrosion with the lacquer as well. I used both the spray and lacquer and find that the lacquer looks nicer. More glossy.
