The cadmium plating on the 'Top' level is much 'better' than the '$20' coating offered on premium rotors. I now have the '$20' coating on a new set; I don't think it will last very long! My last rotors rotted out from the vents, because it is not a daily driver. I also think Powerstop and Power Slot brands get 'confused' - they are different brands. Autospecialty is part of TRW, who I believe was the OEM supplier to both the Contique and the Mondeao. Would Ford have used the Top level rotor as OEM????
