besides if you paint them you can make them any color you want.
I must says that i had to change my front rotors because of the rust, one rotor was begining to split in half (Ford OEM). The rust start by the outer edge of the rotor and went to the vent orifices. So my new rotors are plated (in Quebec at least its a good investement, cuz winter ).
And cross drilled or sloted are just for look, mine are cross drilled and i did not see any difference. I saw track time from a guy with an NSX who tried standard, cross drilled and slotted and there was no significant differences in each of is time.
And i have "F1 pads from Euro-Rotor" and they work very well.
