I was watching Speed Vision last weekend and they explained the difference between DOT Appoved and NON-DOT Apporved Brake lines.
THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOT AND NON-DOT ARE PLASTIC GUARDS ON THE ENDS WHERE THE HOSE AND COUPLING COME TOGETHER.
I thought it was something more than that but its not and the picture Joe has up on the SP web page shows them with the plastic guards which makes them DOT Approved.
