uhhh...60k did the pads and rotors both. I'm thinking the pads had been replaced since there was still life in them, but the f'ing rotors were so badly rusted to the hub and looking nasty, I didn't bother measuring min. thickness. Out with econo Ford, in with econo BAT and mintex.

I have 48k on the original brakes. It helps that 95% of my miles are highway miles.

I think I better get my car back to the dealer then...the front discs are making some awful sounds. Oddly enough, since the front started to sound like they're grinding the rear drums don't seem to squeak as much as they used to. This wouldn't be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty right? With my luck it probably isn't. Oh well, either way it has to get fixed.

My fronts were squeeling so bad that the dealership replaced the pads under warranty, apparently, there's a TSB out for it, they use a new pad with different material.. I had this done at 32K miles, so I was happy, probably needed new brake pads soon anyway, so saved $100 or so.
