A little background: I had new tires put on 7k ago and about 2k ago it felt like my front rotors were warped pretty bad. A moderatly hard stop almost felt like the ABS was kicking in. Hard stops were very unpleasant.

So when I had my tires rotated I asked them to check the brakes and let me know how bad they were. I also asked them to make sure the lug nuts were torqued to 90 ftlbs. Well, they said my rotors would need to be turned and I still felt a little pulsing over the next few days but not as much.
Today (a week later) the warping is gone! There is absolutly no hint of warped rotors when I'm braking!

Moral of the story? If you think your rotors are warped, torque the lug nuts to spec and see what happens!
