When you put it back together, apply anti-sieze compound between the inner drum flange and the hub flange and it will be easier to remove nest time.
The other advice you have received is really about all you can do. WD40 to soak in to try to desolve some of the rust, and a large hammer to try to get the rust to break loose. Don't hammer on the hub, just on the drum.
