You'll still have to go a bit to top this one: When I was a kid, one of the neighbor boys took the "speedqueen" badge off his mother's clothes washer and taped it to the handlebars of his bike. 40 years later, he still can't live that one down! :p

my friend actually has an 93 SVT Escort. It is his beater when he's not driving his SI and we've made it a 'mock' ricer. Pretty funny actually and we've spent a little money to make it ricey. SVT windshield banner and emblem off of my SVT, my old SVT floormats. As well as a HUGE type R sticker on the back glass. We put purple tint on it(the car is red) lighted washer nozzles, lighted valve stems...each one is a different color. Took the wheel covers off and spray painted the wheels baby blue. He also lives on a gravel road and it hasn't been washed in close to 3 years. It's quite nasty. We love to pimp it and make fun off the rices. Oh yeh, and we actually welded a folgers can on the exhaust tip. That makes for a pretty raspy noise. Ah well, it's fun really turned into a competition w/ the real ricers to see if we can out-rice them. Anyone got any other ideas? -neal

I just saw a Geo Metro today with a Z 71 sticker on the side! I'm sure he slapped it on there for the humor of it. At least I hope he did!

eddie bauer expeditions are nice. SVT expeditions are horse****.
we have had an individual bring in his 1997 F-150 lightning for a oil change. most of the other techs, like me, had to walk by and laugh. not only does it have just "lightning" and a rear "svt" badge, but it is green *never made in that color* and lacks the body kit, side exhaust, etc. of couse the drivetrain is stock 4.2L V6...
did i mention that lightnings werent made in 96-97?
