I have a set of unused KVR pads that I bought before my car accident...but it seems like Demon and Lance are trying to kill my chances of selling them!

If anyone is still interested, they were purchased for a 99 SVT. Front and rear.

I've enjoyed my KVR Carbon-Metallic pads and the brembo cross drilled rotors.

Heck, I even put a set on the Buick.

They do need to warm up, so no tailgating until you get the pads warm.

I've not noticed issues in the rain, but perhaps I don't drive as aggressive in the rain. Or... those who were not happy were not using drilled rotors.

I've put about 20K miles on the set on the Buick with no significant drama.

A little squeeking early in the life, but then smooth sailing.

But yes, don't tail gate until you warm the pads.

I did just about tag some yahoo in the Buick last Thursday who decided to pull into my lane at the light because he wanted to be first at the light. You know the drill, I'd timed my stop to be at the line, and then had to get into the brakes harder as the distance suddenly got smaller. Then the clown took off at a pace SLOWER than the guy he would have been behind. FREEKING MORON

I feel better now.

Cheers,

TB

This has been the story of my life since driving my '66 Chevy on a daily basis with it's big drum brakes, I like to leave a little room, but I constantly have people moving into that space...it's very frustrating to say the least...

How do the Mintex A/F pads hold up? Err... Durability wise? Are they bad to the rotors? Am I gonna have to replace them every 5000 miles?
