The 500 is a larger car than the current Taurus, thus it will not be a Contour replacement, it will be a different segment. Euro Foci and Contours do not rattle apart after a year like they do here, Europeans would stop buying them. It appears that is a feature sought after by the US and Canada, which explains the prehistoric Sunfire and Cavalier still rolling around...
