Not only that but they still weren't a good seller for thier mid size class.
Maybe not by Ford's standards, but I think the Contour sold more units than the current generation Altima will sell in its first year.
Just because Nissan comes out with a bold (big) design, the press thinks it's good looking. I beg to differ. It's poorly proportioned. Whatever Nissan styles, Mazda can do better. (Sentra vs Protege, Altima vs 6, Quest vs MPV)
Anyone remember any Contour ads from the past few years? I remember the lame "center of the road" one that mentioned all-speed traction control.
