I ordered powerstops for $99 a piece from Summit Racing, in the larger 278 MM size for a cooling, looks, and stopping power upgrade.
I have also read that the Powerstop rotors warped, but please remember that ANY rotor warps if your calipers are sticking, esp. in racing conditions. I don't plan on doing any SCCA events with my ATX SE sport.......
besides, if they warp, I'm returning them, simple as that.
Gold Cadmium plating is VERY nice.........

BTW the bat kit is a bit of a rip-off IMHO. Read under my thread about the Greenstuffs in BRAKES about my kit I put together.

I think I will purchase some PowerSlot rotors for my car. I know people that use them and them seem to do the job. Don't confuse them with Powerstop, they are different company.

The Baer rotors are vaporware from what I am gathering......they are the two-piece ones with the aluminum hub etc.
Those things are going to be prohibitively expensive (such as everything Baer.....) and probably will not outperform powerstops or powerslotted rotors.
I do not want to hear the arguments about unsprung weight either (due to the aluminum hubs). It's not far enough away from the center of the hub to matter (it is the hub actually.......)

Baer rotors expensive? Their big brake kit is cheap compared to Wilwood or Brembo

EXCEPT for the fact you need 17" wheels and tires so BAER kit + ~$1500
not to mention the pads are much more expensive.

I could justify it for constant race conditions but not on the street......

$1,500? Where are you getting you prices?

How about

Baer Track System (805-F5FS-10150-4HN) .... $895.00/kit

Optional:
Cross-drilled/Gas-slotted & Zinc-washed rotors (805-0ROT12002SDZ) .... $135.00/pr.

That's from SP MotorSports site

Discount Tire. I think if you ask around you'll probably see that many people paid between $1100 and $1500 for 17" wheel/tires.

Besides, it's off topic. The BAER system is expensive but great, as long as you have 17" wheels/tires and a ****ty 40 series tire's ride/great handling on the 4-door 'Tour.
I'd rather spend the money on a Quaife diff and a nice down payment on the Vortech S/C.
