I finally bit the bullet and put together my "homemade" big brake kit. It seemed to me the BAT kit was a bit too high, and I definitely wanted EBC Green Stuff pads.
So here's how the pricing broke down:
2 Power Stop drilled and gold cad plated rotors (278mm) from Summit racing $99 each
2 brackets from Mercury Cougar/E1 SVT new from Atascadero Ford Outlet $136 inc/shipping
EBC green stuffs straight from EBC $84
Total costs w/shipping $427.61
Bat "BIG BRAKE" Kit $479.00 w/o shipping
So saving $50 is no big deal, unless you're picky like me and want Gold Cad Plated rotors
