Don' like the rims, but the brakes look (and surely work) great. My brother has a set on his SHO with Porterfield R4E pads, and there is never a question of brake fade any time I've driven the car on a track.

We had the car at Pueblo Motorsports Park last month in 96 deg. heat, and that car approaches 3800 lb. with 2 passengers. Absolutely no brake concerns.

Yes, the rims are Focal F5's 17x7.5. And they belong to Joey Sinz, along with the Baer setup - i just helped him out by posting the pic... i don't know how much he paid. And you can't fit the Baer brakes inside a 16" rims.

Focal F 5's were only about 1300 for rims and tires.

The Rims flow with the car so perfectly!
They really do look good with the body lines of the car.

Yup, Joey, its me, your buddy again from the Baer brake discussion.

Have you had those wheels weighed? For $1300 for wheels and tires, they may not be the lightest wheels out there. What tires are you running and what was the breakdown between wheels and tires? My S02's from Tire Rack and mounted locally alone were $830 on the stock wheels.

Those look like Pirelli P7000s. ~$125 for 17s in the 'right' size range.

Hey whats up Flip?

yeah they were about a buck sixty a pop,
plus about 125 for pirelli p7000's like "Louis Wang said"!......Weight is not an issue for me cause its just for the street. Not the track.

Yeah, but if you're doing some impromptu street races, beating up on the local rice, that extra weight will really hurt in off the line performance.

If only BBS RK's would fit our car. VERY light wheel. Pretty much the choice of most M3 owners.

Adam...

If you try beat someone on the street (or regardless) and it comes down to wheel weight - you really didn't win anyway...
