....has gotten even smaller than the prior past few year. But none the less just so see those 360 Modenas racing around for even a few hours was worth the 25 bucks they were asking. I was however disappointed with the lack of 550 Maranellos. Not a one on display. A few of the more successful individuals shared believes that the economy was to blame for this slow down. But all in all I had a really good time. Went by myself and just enjoyed talking with new friends and the viewing such fine pieces of machinery.

Ferrari of Washington had two cars crash into the wall with no back-ups! I'm not sure what they are going to do if anything at all. I'm really looking forward to next years race. I think for the most part things should be on the return (the market that is) with individual confidence continuing onward....which translates to more cars for us to watch next year!!! laugh

Guess I'm glad I didn't go.

I thinking Petit LeMans might the event to go to in the fall, depending on how broke I am. Both the 'tour and the bike are gonna need a tune-up.

Yeah, not what I was excepting but fun none the less. No, the F50 pace car wasn't there, nor was I able to snap any pictures. frown But the (I think it was Perry who named it this....) the old vintage Ferrari hot-dog mobile was there doing its four wheel drifts through the turns. All in all there were maybe; and that is a BIT MAYBE 15 cars there!!! eek BUT I did get a few promising contacts with something I'm working on in the back of my head....Gotta do more research before I tell anyone... wink laugh

So John, I like you idea about the Petit LeMans. Now that I've been to Atlanta a few times I've found several good hangouts and should be able to put things together with Perrys help and a few other. That is if there is any interest...Possibly try and get an idea together for everyone to start planning their schedules.???

15 cars?!?!?! Dayam! I'd feel cheated! There musta been 15 of the 360 Challenge cars alone last year. That's kinda sucky.

But at least the Oscar Meyer Ferrari was there!

hmmm...prolly just as well that i spent the day carpenter-ing on my house. hate that i missed it, since bill p. and i were gonna throw down afterwards w/ him spraying on the focus, but oh well. maybe next time.

i'm definitely itching to head over that way to just hang out (no need to spend $25 at RA to shoot the breeze), so if anybody's up for a backyard-kind-of-meet, lemme know. my schedule over the next few months is mostly clear, and i know wes is supposed to be heading this way in june.

glad at least somebody from the SE_CEG represented at the FC....maybe next year some of those rich old farts will actually want to bring the cars out and play in the sun instead of worrying about their stock portfolios. laugh
