Im looking for a shop in the NC to MD area or as close to Lynchburg or Danville (VA) as possible to do mirror tint. Or somewhere that will do it as dark as I want. No where in Lynchburg will do it for me. Thanks

Tint (703) 330-4910 (703) 330-5627 (FAX) 9055 Liberia Ave. Manassas, VA 22110 ascinc@arrow.com 83 NE Formula One by LA Tint (703) 497-8474 14236 Smoketown Road Woodbridge, VA 22191 Are any of those near you. If so I would reccomend any of them. They are all Formula One dealers. Great Window Tinting place. They guy who did mine was going to do them as dark as I wanted. (I didn't really want mine too dark though) I would be carefull doing that in VA though, cause from what I hear they are pretty strict there. If you need any more info let me know. You can check there website out at www.formulaone.com They have the best warranty around, its warranty is through the company not the individual store like everyone else. So if the store goes out of business you won't be stuck! They also have a store here in Raleigh, NC. Can't remember how far away Lynchburg is though. Hope that helps, Justin

Waaaa.. they don't have any in Indiana! I had my windows tinted by a small shop up in Maryland four years ago, about a week after I got my car. I noticed, about 6 months ago, that it had started to turn purple. Have no ties to Maryland any more, so warranty is out of the question.
Been kinda keeping my eyes open for places that people use in hopes that a deal too good to pass up would come around..
You know any other decent brands to check out, Justin? (I'm 90% sure the stuff I have is Llumar...)

Other than formulaone & llumar tint I haven't really heard of any others. I'm surprised that llumar did that, they seemed to be pretty decent. I love my forumula one though, I'll keep an eye out and do a couple searches on the net and let you know.
Shane:
They have 2 types of Mirror tent, and they are $100 percent dye free and use only metal based tint, which blocks more light & UV than dye. The top of the line is Millennium (Slightly reflective but a happy medium between darkness & reflectiveness) the second in line is (can't remember the name) but it is a metal based tint which is alot more reflective than the Milennium.
I chose Millennium, I wanted something a bit more subtle and I thought it looked the best. I was going to go with something darker than legal(35%) which he was willing to do, but he also said that if I was caught by the Police they would make me take it off and then I would have to pay to put it back on.
They do have some other tints there made by llumar but don't have the same warranty and its a completely different product.
The main thing about this place is the INSTALL. I mean its freakin' awesome how close they get, they must take your door panels off becuase there are no seems to be seen anywhere. All the way up to the round of the window too. Oh and they use only one piece for the rear window, where most installers use 2 or 3 sometimes.
Very professional and very good install. They do all the tinting work for the local car dealers too. They are slightly expensive though, but you get what you pay for. They do have some coupons on their website, let me know if you need the link.
Anyways enought rambling. Let me know if you have any Q's.
Hope it helps, Justin

i'll echo the recommendations for formula one...that's what i have on my car. it's 35%, and i have the middle line that justin couldn't remember the name of. iirc, it's something like "premier"...it's the metallic one...looks great on silver cars. the place that did mine recommends millenium for certain car colors and premier for others...i couldn't be happier w/ mine.
