You are leaving yourself, and Lance, wide open to legal actions.
So just don't talk about it.
Bears kill people. Osama Bin Laden kills people. Airplanes kill people. Tornados kill people. Lightning kills people. Driving while talking on a phone kills people.
I don't see what the hype is about. Anyone who has gone 26 in a 25 has broken the law. Why must we all be such squares? When you have a couple of kids and other family members you care for, your views change.
I did some really stupid stuff when I was 16 and behind the wheel. Just because I did it doesn't make it right.
Do I still go fast, yes, but usually in ideal circumstances.
I don't speed on unlimited access streets, avoid tailgating on the same streets, and get on my wife for the same things. With driveways, parking lots, cross streets and other such "accident opportunities" on unlimited access roads, I try to drive defensively in that space.
On the interstate, let 'er rip. There are fewer accident opportunites.
But I still don't condone driving like a selfish SOB. This includes both LeftLaneLosers as well as those who would pass on the shoulder at 1.5 the limit in traffic, for example.
I don't think anyone here is saying don't speed. At least I'm not, I'm saying drive responsibly. If you get pinched for speeding, and you were speeding, then you takes your chances in court or pay the fine.
