Trying to find out if anyone is interested in getting together either the end of this month or sometime next month? It will be either a BS session (shoot some pool, lunch, etc.) or a drive up to the mountains (about 45min to 1hour drive north) for some real driving. If anyone is interested post here and we will try to get something going!

hey man. might be fun! BTW, my last run last Friday was a 15.767. Had a .583 or so reaction time and a 2.28 60' time. Must be holding third too long. Had my resonator changed out on Saturday too...trying to tweak out the exhaust the best I can.

When are you thinking of going back up there? I would like to make a couple of runs. I need some time to put my stock wheels back on, so I can have tires with some damn traction! I know it's hard to do on a Friday after work, but when you decide to go, let me konw. Not sure when I can make it back up to the drag strip. They are having a test'n tune Tomorrow, but it is supposed to rain. After that, the next one is on May 11, and its likely that I will be doing something for my girlfriend's birthday that night...after that the next chance to go is on May 18. So unless I break up with my girlfriend (long story, but breakup is likely) then maybe the the 18th looks like a good day for the drags.

So when are you guys thinking about getting together? Next weekend (April 21-22) is the Fun Ford Weekend at Commerce. I'll be there checking out Tommy Higgins (Higgins Performance) and all their bad ass cars. Also, this guy I know should have his GT-350 clone up there at the car show. It's a pretty sweet ride, even been autographed by Carroll Shelby, and man does that thing sound good! It should be fun.
As a side note, I stopped by Higgins the other day asking about some stuff for the 'Tours. I heard he had a sillver SVT up there that he was working on. Turned out to be nothing, just putting a clutch in it. Sorry, not much luck on our front. However, while I was there I glanced at some of the postings of runs on their new dyno. There was this one '93 or so GT with a 351W & Vortech that was putting out 500 HP to the wheels--AWESOME! That was just one, there were many others. Man, I can't wait to see some of these cars run down the track. Is anyone else going? Maybe I'll see you up there.
The next weekend after that is the IRL race at AMS under the lights (April 28). Then the following weekend is Music Midtown (May 4-6). So it looks like I'll be tied up for the next few weeks or so. But, I would still like to hook up with everybody if it is at all possible. Keep us posted.

Most of these guys are around Atlanta. I'm in B'ham. I think the roads they want are in North GA...up around Dahlonega. I know of some extremely sweet twisties between Amicalola State Park and Ellijay, and continuing out of Ellijay to Fort Mountain State Park. (I think that's right...)
