So when are you guys thinking about getting together? Next weekend (April 21-22) is the Fun Ford Weekend at Commerce. I'll be there checking out Tommy Higgins (Higgins Performance) and all their bad ass cars. Also, this guy I know should have his GT-350 clone up there at the car show. It's a pretty sweet ride, even been autographed by Carroll Shelby, and man does that thing sound good! It should be fun.
As a side note, I stopped by Higgins the other day asking about some stuff for the 'Tours. I heard he had a sillver SVT up there that he was working on. Turned out to be nothing, just putting a clutch in it. Sorry, not much luck on our front. However, while I was there I glanced at some of the postings of runs on their new dyno. There was this one '93 or so GT with a 351W & Vortech that was putting out 500 HP to the wheels--AWESOME! That was just one, there were many others. Man, I can't wait to see some of these cars run down the track. Is anyone else going? Maybe I'll see you up there.
The next weekend after that is the IRL race at AMS under the lights (April 28). Then the following weekend is Music Midtown (May 4-6). So it looks like I'll be tied up for the next few weeks or so. But, I would still like to hook up with everybody if it is at all possible. Keep us posted.
