All you have to say is "at the track" and you can freely talk about racing another make/model. Granted street racing is dumb, I find myself racing cars from the lights (at the track) to the speed limit. I'm sure if the track owners thought it was reckless driving at the track they could write me a track ticket.

Yea, only forum I have been on that has this rule, but that's fine... just wasn't aware of it. I can talk my way around it next time. What I don't like are people that are pricks about it though. Next time I will read closer.

Contour.org is NOT the only forum with this rule.
Start reading the user agreements in many other forums
and you will find that there are many more than you think.
Street Racing kills people, its stupid, and should not be even remotely discussed in these forums.
You are leaving yourself, and Lance, wide open to legal actions.
So just don't talk about it.
The track is the place for this sort of thing.
That is why there are tracks in the first place.

Thank you for that colorful description of the law and rules. I understand and was just making an innocent, no-harm-intended comment... wasn't aware of it, sorry I didn't read. It's the people that flip nutz like yourself that really get me. You don't have to explain the law to me or that people should only race on the track because I agree with you 100%, doesn't mean that people don't play every once in a while either though, so don't act like it doesn't happen. Do you drive your car 95% of the time on the track? NO, so what's the point in having a fast car then?

I really don't want to cause a huge ruckus here... sorry it's such a big deal, but come on people... I'm sorry already, doesn't mean you have to light a fire under my ass because of it. I was in no way trying to make anyone mad here... I only get defensive when someone flames on me. I respect a great deal of people on this site for many reasons.
