Some of you who are on the SE-CEG mailing list will have gotten this in your mailboxes, so ignore:

For the first time since the move from Auburn to Melbourne last June, I will be returning to NE Georgia for what I hope to be another SE-CEG meeting at this year's Ferrari Challenge, May 12-13. I've already talked to Wes Fenner, and he seems to be planning on it...

How many others can plan that far ahead and put a placeholder on their calendars for that weekend?

And, yes, I'll do a smooth-readin' story afterwards...had to silence that question before it was asked.

This, if it happens, will be the first appearance of my SVT to any of the SE-CEG folks, with the possible exception of Grady Brain, who may be coming to Disney and a short Riley welcome sometime in April.

Tim K., I expect you there. Even if you have to strap a row of tires (you know, like that car in Knight Rider that pushed old women and stuff onto train tracks, etc.) to ward off debris on the long trip...:-P

Let's make it another big one if we can...

Come on guys, be there. Last year we had
about 10-12 cars there. It was a blast.

I'm not going unless more than 15 people show
up, and I know all you peeps want to meet me,
since I'm so famous.

Now get to it!

heh.

Geez...looks like I've been gone for too long.

Clue me in on the discord...

Unnatural farts?
Groping other SE-CEG'ers after only 4 beers?
Bad driving music?
Uneven tail pipes?
Horsepower wars getting personal?

or...AH! Could it be...

Mondeo badges appearing on SE-CEG member cars? (No, Blake, not talking about your tag)

Come on fellas, I'm sure we can work through our differences here,

heehee....*whew*!!! i was about to have to get all defensive and stuff.

regarding the lack of commitment, though...could be that the SE-CEG is just full of slackers unwilling to make a commitment.

I got a call from Grady yesterday, and I am seriously considering coming on down, provided my new employer, whomever that may be, will let me take off for both SZ2K+1 and the Ferrari Challenge. I know Matt is kinda in the same situation...
