I really wasn't trying to defend you, or anyone for that matter, more like a moderator  .But I do know what it's like to be on both sides of the court, if you take notice to my 1/4 time below and say to yourself- "Is that quick enough to edge out an E36 M3"? Well it sure is(2 in fact, one at Moroso, and another on the street), but I would never post something of that nature due to serious flaming.

When are we going to Moroso next? I haven't been since Feb/March, that was before I fixed my wiring and my car ran like crap. I only got in one run at 16.3 @ 86......ouch! What is funnier is that I ran the fastest time out of the all of us...and there were 4 SVTs there!! LOL

Let's make a meet around late August. I want to go to Moroso, but i'm going on vacation from July 20th - August 7. Anytime after the 7th of August(The 9th?) would be cool.

There is no way you beat a Taurus SHO. Those cars are very quick.

Actually I read that a CSVT has a better 1/4 time than a SHO Taurus ( 98'CSVT 15.4 97'SHO 15.9 1/4 mile and 0-60 CSVT 7.1 SHO 7.7) BELIEVE IT !!!!

Once I get a new alternator, then I would love to add another Contour to my list :rolleyes: Go to Moroso Firday! I hope that my car will be fixed by then.

I saw him again.. That black SVT with the SVT lettering on the window! Sadly enough, I was going the other direction with MY car while it was half dead. Damn alternator. He saw me and tried to flag me to his direction. He isn't from CEG I guess. He doesn't know about this site yet. Maybe next time...
