to get to bud park go down calgary trail south towards leduc, when you get to the nisku turnoff head west (away from nisku) till you see the sign that says bud park

StephenOk, before this great forum gets deleted, let's make it official. We will meet at Hawrelak Park, at noon on August the 4th, at the first parking lot on the left as you enter the park, to view the cars and exchange notes and mod ideas etc. We can decide there if we will do something else and go from there. Bring some food and pop etc, as it is a nice park with lots of parking and picnic tables. Also on August the 9th we will meet at the Bud Park for those who want to drag race and for those who want to watch.Stephen

Just a note, There is also an event at the park called Heritage Days and because of this it will be a good idea for all that plan on being there on Sunday, that they come earlier due to the fact that it will be busy there. Hey look at it this way, there will be lots of people to show off your car to! :p The meet will officialy kick off at noon as planned but don't try to get there just at noon because you may not get a parking spot. I'm planning to be there at 10am, watch the Heritage Days for a while and then meet everyone at noon. :rolleyes: Hope to see all you there, Stephen

i should be there unless i go camping. i have my new wheels clicky and my tranny is done - tho it needs work as my stall was not high enough. it should be fixed by then.

haven't been to Heritage days in 5 years. When i went, Hawrelak park was closed for traffic. had to park in Westmount mall and take the bus from there. i just want to double check on that cuz a friend of mine is coming from out of town to the meet.
