Neither one of my contour motors used oil. Spun bearings but used NO oil.

I use no oil between changes with Mobil 1 5-30. I have 72,000 miles.

I couldn't tell ya how much oil my Zetec uses. I let the dealership handle it, because if they break something they fix it. Also I am paying $12.95 an oil change for letting them do it.

I don't consume oil, the doctor said it'll hurt my tummy. My zetec don't use no oil though. In fact it's above full righ now. It might start using some when i make the switch to synthetic.

Amazingly enough, my old beater is still using basically no oil. It has developed a small drip (1 drop/night) but this ends up being maybe 1/2 Qt. over 3000 miles.
