Your best bet would be to let a stereo shop install it, most offer free install anyway.

I really don't see the need of a remote starter in Florida. I liked having that when I lived in MI cause the car would be warm in the winter....but down here........

And you really do not want a remote start on a MTX anyway...a lot of shop will not do that, its to much of a liability.

The thing is that I got that remote start/keyless/alarm system for free so I just need to find out how to install it. I'm also going to lower my car 2" this Friday (Tomorrow) because I got the coilovers for free... Don't ask... Remember that kid that I posted his pictures (Ryan)? Well he bought these coilovers that cost him a pretty penny and it didn't fit his car, so he gave them to me for $20! I was pretty excited, considering that he spent over $400 for the coilovers! What an idiot!

Normally I would agree with you except that I took the mofo apart and all the wires are bare!! Once I moved them, I must have cracked the insulation off some other key wires....as it didn't start after that. The wires that I touched go to every sensor, and if you remember when we cleaned my intake back in October....we forgot to hook the IAC valve back up and it didn't start. That is exactly what it's doing now...but everything hooks up and checks out ok. And it's not just "a" part.....this part is ALL of the underhood wiring. All harnesses, connectors and fastners as well. I'll post pics of the old wires when I'm done and you'll see why I paid $700. There are a few pics in the General forums of someones battery cables/wires cracking....well....all my wires look like those... I should have all the parts by next Wed.......
