you might want to reset your PCM for a while and then let it re-learn the new mod. That could very well be the possibility..[/QB] I already reseted the computer. It's weird, because I just noticed that when I turn off the car, there is like a pressure release somewhere under the hood...?

Hey, I'll be in Boynton on Sunday, if you want to hook up someplace I'll be happy to take a look at your ride. PM or call 561-271-7839.

Ryan Ryan will look at it, but don't expect him to do anything.

Check the IAC and the so called "Map Sensor" for leaks, as well as the EGR. Best way to tell if there is a vacuum leak is soapy water, or a cigarette. Just soak all the connections with the water, or blow some smoke around the connections. Look for bubbles, or look for the smoke to be sucked in or blown out....

Now the check engine light turned on...? It runs a TAD slower than usual (Doesn't burn rubber into 2nd) so I would think it has to do with the O2 sensor? Also, I was looking under the hood, and there is a blackish liquid in the intake pipe, right after the airbox. There is also a little puddle of it in the throttle body... Is that from the engine? Is that REALLY bad?

Hey CONTOUR.........Sam called me....he said you were driving down this way tomorrow. He said you are doing the complete UIM/LIM cleaning. I have one word you must not forget....."Berryman's".
This stuff is awesome. Do not buy any other type of carb cleaner other than this stuff. The rest are absolutely worthless. It is in a White can with Blue lettering and a red cap. Buy at least 4-6 cans to be safe. Also, but at least one roll of the blue shop towels. These work great. Also, being that you only have 55K on your car, the gaskets should be fine, but we should inspect all the gaskets and Fuel Injector seals while we are in there.
I have an inch torque wrench. If I come and help you boys tomorrow night, I'll bring it. I may have other plans, but I can't remember what they were (uh oh!!) I'll let you know tomorrow...maybe you can swing by Sunrise and pic the wrench up.

I disagree. The gaskets will not be good enough to re use. I cleaned my UI and LIM at 45K and I reused my gaskets. Not as good idea. I ended up have a massive vacuum leak coming from my LIM. It made my car run horribly lean for weeks. I ended up ordering the complete set of gaskets from Bill J for 28.10. A value in itself. I would strongly suggest you do not clean them until you have the replacement gaskets in hand. Like I stated earlier, you should order upper and lower intake, throttle body, idle air, and EGR gaskets. If not, you are asking for trouble...
