We had 3 SVTs and a Mystique show up at Moroso tonight. Between the four of us....we got in a grand total ooffffffffffffff.............5 runs. And 4 of those runs were at around 11:30. We got there b/t 7-7:30......geez!
There were A LOT of cars there tonight and lots of spills and trannies breaking.
I don't think any of us broke into the 15's...very disappointing. But it seemed to be the same for a lot of cars. Golf GTI's w/ the 1.8T and Jettas w/ 1.8T and VR6s were running in the 16's as well. Must be the track or something.
I didn't like waiting 4 hours though...that sucked. I might have to go back on a Wed night.
Thanks to Sam, Eric, Eric(whose SE is in the shop) and Chris(a newbie) for showing up.
Oh...I ended up racing that 1989 Trans Am Turbo on the way home....I caught up to him on the Sawgrass....I teased him a little.....just to seem him hit it......man...when he did...he was GONE!!! It was great!!!!
See you all next time!!!!

WELLLLL let me start by telling you the bad luck I ran into on the way home.... 1rst im going like 80 and i ran right over a bumper peice of **** is right in the middle os the ****ing road... blows out one of my fogs,, I thought that was all. I get home and i notice my bumper rear bumper is sticking out a lil. I go push it in except it wont budge.. I walk around and look and my rear grill is gone!!!(anyone know how i can get a new one?) and i try bringing the bumper down but its jammed.. the inner black thing inside the tire is bent aswell.. so ima have to get under the car tommorow morning and see what other damages were caused... OH !! we also so a horrific M3 destroyed along side of I 95 he was at moroso with us and he fishtailed going 140mph into the median and then into one giant cement pillars that hold up an overpass. Thing was destroyed luckily both occupants were walking around and had minor injuries...
Im pisssed!!!

Ahhh, and they wonder why people race on the streets  . Been there, done that, got the shirt. I wish I had a nickel for every time my fat ass has sat at the track for 5 hours only to run twice. Makes you appreciate auto-x so much more.
Let's hear some times people. I wanna know what ya'll did!

I tried to tell you guys to get there early! The slick track conditions are a regular for Moroso, the last time I went there were several quick cars, not quite running what they should due to slippery conditions. A 97 E36 M3-best run of the night was a 14.79@96, but most of his runs were high 14's to low 15's, also a vortech supercharged SI-best run was a 14.2, but most runs in the 14.8-14.9@88 range , there was also a 330i-Best run I saw him get was a 15.6, kinda makes me wonder how I've had multilpe 14's the last couple of trips to the track with high 2.3s for 60 foot times?

How about TIME.........no plural dammit!! 60' 2.529 330 6.996 1/8 10.612 mph 67.86 1000 13.697 1/4 16.308 mph 86.29 I don't get it...I had a pretty good launch...I think I just had crappy 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. I ran a 15.88 at 88 a year ago with dirty upper and lower intakes (you all saw how dirty at Shauns place). Now the upper and lower are clean and I've gutted the cats and have a sho y-pipe. I did have almost 3/4 of a tank(I filled up on Tuesday). However, it's good to see that I posted the fastest time (that I know of) out of all 4 of us that showed up. Heh Heh...not bad for a 95 LS..........but still might *****y. Oh well...there's always this Wed.....
